This has been requested by IOError as well and this might become the case in the future.
Right now the integration work making all pekwm actions available from an external interface (atoms) will take too much time to implement but is most likely the cleanest/nicest way to go.

Have you considered removing CmdDialog from pekwm code completely? Maybe keeping it as standalone aplication, but there;s already gmrun.
