I've noticed that under pekwm and using pypanel emesene has strange problems, for example if i close an open chat window from the exit bottom of pekwm, the task still remanins open in the taskbar of pypanel but the window is closed, in fact if i click on the task nothing happens.. the same situation happens also if i open the smile window or other window of the window chat, for example the invite contact window.

p.s. it happens also with gajim, maybe because they are both written in python?

I've tried with openbox and pypanel, pekwm and fbpanel or tint2 and i confirm that so there aren't any problems with emesene. So also with the login window appears this error, is a bug related to Pekwm or emesene? I have also posted in the emesene forum but i don't think they are able to resolve this bug.

... ah, also happens with pekwm+pypanel+kmess, another instant messanger.

I confirm this. PekWM+pypanel+emesene causes this. Replace pekwm with openbox or pypanel with fbpanel and the problem goes away. Didn't test further panel/wm combinations.

To test you don't need an msn account, the emesene login window is enough to tricker this.
