Description

I use a 2-output layout using XRANDR. One output is my laptop's LCD, the other is an external TFT.

To reproduce the bug

1. open APP on the laptop LCD

2. move the window to the external TFT

3. maximize the window.

Now the APP is maximized, but it switched back to the laptop's LCD. Moving it back to the external TFT and maximizing it again will then correctly maximize on the external TFT.

I use a current GIT checkout (pekwm: version 0.1.9a Built on Sun Jan 18 20:48:13 CET 2009) and can reproduce that bug for APP in firefox, conkeror (another XULRunner based browser) and konqueror. All other apps I've tried (urxvt, OO.org, PCManFM, gpicview) don't trigger that bug...

Yes, Xinerama is enabled for both X and pekwm. As I've said, it does work for all apps I use except mozilla based apps and Konqueror.

Another observation which probably is related: When I have a workspace with only a window of one of those "bad apps" and close that, then I cannot switch to another workspace with Mod4-<number>. Switching with an external pager application works, though. Should I submit a new bug report for it or is this remark sufficient.

I've experienced this with Firefox and it actually seems to be Firefox being confused and not pekwm. This happens with Metacity as well. Maybe we can work around it somehow?
